How to use Chromecast with Google TV for Digital Signage.

Chromecast with Google TV is a powerful device that lets you turn an existing screen into a digital sign.

Digital signage is an effective way to communicate with customers and employees, and Chromecast with Google TV is a great way to get a sign up and running. Chromecast with Google TV lets you easily send content from your mobile device or laptop to just about any screen that has an HDMI port.

Chromecast with Google TV is an Android-based streaming device that allows for the installation of apps. You can remotely control any number of Google TVs all from one place with Display NOW Manager. Google TV is available as a streaming stick or integrated into new TVs if you don't have a screen already.

These streaming sticks can be connected to any TV with an HDMI input, quickly turning it into a digital menu board or whatever you desire! You don’t need expensive screens or hardware anymore.

There are two paths you can take:

  • If you have a screen, you'll want to get a Chromecast with Google TV dongle
  • If you don't have a screen, we suggest buying a TV with Google TV built-in (you won't need the extra dongle!)
